Grade 6 Report

Looking Back, Moving Forward
There are a lot of mixed emotions in Grade 6 as our last term in primary school has arrived.
It’s exciting to think about the future as new adventures and opportunities lie just around the corner, but it also means we will be parting ways with people we have spent the last seven years of our life with.
As a way to reflect, we are completing our Speaking and Listening presentation called ‘Looking back, Moving Forward’, in which we will be looking forward and expressing our hopes and dreams for the future, while looking back at the events that have made us who we are today.
Here are some thoughts on finishing Grade 6:
Gabe 6AA – “Year 6 is a big year, Camp was amazing and we really enjoyed interschool sports this year. I’ve grown up a lot and I think I’m ready for Thornbury High!”
Ivy 6AA – “Primary school has been amazing but eventually you have to move on and I think I am ready for it.”
Cooper 6AB – ‘It will be fun and a new adventure, it will help me in Maths.”
Freida 6AB – “While high school can be fun and a new experience, it can also be hard to split from the people I have had as friends for the last 7 years.”
Sebastian 6AC – “It will be fun playing high school basketball and getting food from the canteen.”
Maggie 6AC – “I’m looking forward to making new friends, meeting new people and playing high school basketball.”
Lincoln 6AD – “I can’t wait to meet new people and try new things like photography.”
Eva 6AD – “I’m looking forward to meeting new people and learning new sports.”
