School Sport Australia Netball Championships

A big congratulations to Asher who has returned from her week long competition with a bronze medal for Victoria!! The Victorian team played 14 games over the week and only missed out on the silver medal by 1 point. Well done to Asher and her family on such an amazing achievement!

State Athletics Championships

Well done to our 5 students who competed at the State Athletics yesterday. Our star sprinters, Zahara (9/10 Girls) and Owen (12 Boys), both ran amazing in the heats of the 200m and secured themselves a spot in the final. In the final, Owen claimed 7th position and Zahara finished in 8th. An amazing achievement from both athletes!

Our multiclass athletes represented RGL strongly amongst the biggest multiclass turn out at these championships ever - with 102 students across the day competing. Charlotte claimed bronze in the 9/10 Girls 100m and 800m, Steve won gold in the 9/10 Boys 100m race and bronze in both the 800m and 200m AND Aaron won bronze in the 100m and 200m. Well done guys!

Region Junior Hoop Time

A huge congratulations to our Junior All Stars boys basketball team who competed in the Region Junior Hoop Time tournament today. The team placed third in their pool and played off in a challenging match for a place in the qualifying finals. Despite some incredible offense, they just missed out on the win. A big thank you to Dan D for coaching the team on your birthday!
