Principal's Message

Loving God,
Give us wisdom as we guide our young people in the digital world.
May our words and actions help them use technology with kindness, courage, and responsibility.
Bless our families and educators as we work together to build safe and respectful online communities.
Amen.
Preparing for Upcoming Social Media Age Restrictions
The eSafety Commissioner has released new resources to support educators, parents, and young people as we prepare for the introduction of social media age restrictions, which will come into effect on 10 December 2025.
The eSafety Social Media Age Restrictions (SMAR) Hub remains the central resource, providing clear, up-to-date information about what these changes mean for schools and families.
For educators, the new Information for Educators section offers tailored guidance and printable pages to support classroom conversations and digital safety planning. As this information is subject to change, we encourage staff and families to revisit the site regularly to stay informed.
In addition, free Webinars for both educators and parents/carers are now available through the Hub. These sessions are an excellent opportunity to deepen understanding of how the age restrictions will be implemented and how we can continue to support young people to use technology safely, responsibly, and positively.
As a school, we are committed to working alongside families to help students navigate their digital world with wisdom and care. Together, we can ensure that technology continues to be a tool for connection and learning rather than a source of risk or distraction.
Regards
Brian Martin
Principal
