Division Sports
Over the last week and next week we have had many students representing COHR and our District, at the Division level. Teams and individuals who progress through this stage then go on to Regional, and then State level.
Eleven students represented us at the Division Athletics. Congratulations to Matthew and Madeline who are going on to Regional.
Yesterday 8 students represented the District at Basketball. They were up against some tough competition and represented our school with pride. Also a thank you to Dave Middleton for coaching the team and the parents who transported the students.
At the Hot Shot Tennis COHR had 9 representatives who came third overall. Anabel and Liesel wrote a reflection on the day. Well done, we are very proud of you all!
On Monday the 14th of October, 9 girls were accepted into the Hot Shots tennis division from COHR. We played five rounds, against five schools, Mount View, Glendal Primary School, Mount Waverley, Essex Heights and Camelot Rise. Some students from each school were very competitive and the quality of tennis was very high.
We worked very well as a team, and we ended up winning against 3 matches of the 5 schools we played, and we ended up coming third. It was a really enjoyable experience and we all had a great time.
Although we didn't make it into the next level we are very proud of how we all participated as a team and tried our best, considering the level of difficulty the other players were.
We would like to thank Ms Tobin for organising this day and putting your other work aside to come and support us. Thanks also to Cate Duckett for transporting us.
