Mission Day

October is Mission Month, where in the Catholic Tradition, we work together to build social justice and care for our world. This year our Mission Day will be held on Friday October 25th. As always, during this time we encourage our students to think deeply about how they can make a positive impact on the world; through care for our environment and care for all people. Pope Francis has chosen the gospel of Matthew 22:09 which has the key theme of “Go and invite everyone to the banquet" for this years Mission Month. It is with this in mind that we hold our Mission Day with a focus on everyone being included and welcomed. If you would like to read more about the work of Catholic Mission and how funds raised at school will go towards global projects, please see this link - https://www.catholicmission.org.au/

From the Catholic Mission page -

“Let’s celebrate World Mission Month! Together, we have the power to create change and build a more just world for people everywhere. By supporting missionaries in their work, we can create life-changing opportunities for countless children, families, and communities worldwide. Join us in making a difference for our sisters and brothers.”
