Health & P.E.
Congratulations to our Regional Champion Athletics Team. We are so proud of you! Ryleigh came second in triple jump and is off to State. Aaron placed third in shot put, Luca third in long jump and Kitt third in shot put. To our whole team, your determination has been incredible to watch. We are beyond proud of your efforts and all the best to Ryleigh who is off to the State Championships.
This week, the F-2s have been focusing on the game of Tunnel Ball. An oldie, but a goodie. We love a bit of competition at MPS, so allocating house point for the winners was a big motivator. We focused on going under and then we learnt how to do under, over.
Foundation to year 4 students have completed obstacle courses this week! We have so much fun rotating through different activities to increase our motor skills.
Bike Ed
Session 4 out of our 5 lessons for year 5/6 Bike Ed has been completed! We learnt about breaking quickly, if need be, changing foot directions in case of sudden movement changes, stopping and starting at different points. Mary brings many skills to our students. She actually just came 3rd in the National Bike Road Championships in Adelaide. Congratulations on your Bronze medal Mary!
