Assistant Principals' Report
PARENT COMMUNITY
We would like to extend a big thank you to all our parents and families for your incredible support and involvement in our Primary Years events throughout Term 3. It was fantastic to see so many of you attending and participating in events such as the House Performing Arts, Footy Day, and our learning expos.
Your presence truly strengthens our sense of community and helps build important connections between school and home, creating an even more enriching environment for our students. We look forward to continuing this wonderful partnership in Term 4!
HATS AND SUN SAFETY
In Term 4, all students will require to wear a hat outside when playing and participating in PE and Sports. In the Primary Years students are required to wear the school bucket hat. If students forget their hat on any day, they must play in a shaded area to ensure they are protected from the sun.
Caps that were previously worn in Middle School are not acceptable and students who wear them will be asked to take them off and move to a shaded area.
Over the holidays, please check that your child has a bucket hat ready for next term. IF you need a new hat for your child please visit our uniform provider PSW in South Morang or order online. Bucket hats can also be purchased from the main College office for $17.95 if required.
PRIORITISE WELLBEING
As we approach the holiday break, we encourage all our families to take time to focus on wellbeing. The holidays provide a wonderful opportunity to rest, recharge, and enjoy quality time together. This is key to returning refreshed for Term 4.
We encourage students to maintain a healthy balance of play, relaxation, and self-care. This is also a great time to reflect on achievements from Term 3. We wish you all a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable break!
CYBER SAFETY
We know many of our students will be communicating with each other via messaging apps to keep in contact over the holidays. Below is some information on Cyberbullying to help you support your child if they experience any unkindness while online with their friends.
