Leader of Year 7 Wellbeing
Mrs Michelle Aurelius (Acting)
Year 7 have had a fantastic Term 3 and have been involved in many different activities across the College. It has been a busy term with Year 12 Graduating but I am very proud of the way Year 7 have taken it in their stride and got on with everything that came their way.
In week 6 Year 7 were lucky enough to have Headspace talk to them in their Pastoral Lesson. They learnt about boundaries, setting limits, and how to deal with conflict.
Another very important day for our Year 7’s was our Homelessness Awareness Day. Year 7 participated in many different games with our College leaders and Evan our Youth Minister.
Our Year 7 Mission team packed over 300 breakfast packs for the homeless, which was taken to One Meal by Mrs Hughes and team.
I would personally like to thank all our Year 7 families who brought in weet-bix, long life milk or a box of muesli bars. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
I would also like to congratulate our three year 7 students who won the English Writing Competition run by Mrs Randall.
1st Place: Leah Gjuratic 2nd Place: Maggie Foster 3rd Place: Hunter Trivett-Clarke
I wish you all a safe and restful break and remember to keep practising GEM: Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness.
