Little Stories Big Ideas Flash Fiction- Book Week Competition

Below I share the winning entry of our Flash Fiction writing competition during book week. The theme was ACCEPTANCE. Congratulations Leah.

Thank you to Mrs Randall and the Year 7 English team for facilitating the competition.

Together united

 Old or young,

Big or small,

Black or white,

We should all unite.

Not just one,

We are more,

All together,

We stand tall.

Not just now,

But forever,

We are here,

All together.

Remember now,

Forget the past,

A brighter future,

Will come fast.

We join forces,

Shields and spears,

All united,

We drink beers.

Two Heads,

 Are Better Than One,

All our lives,

Combined as one.

We’ll shake hands,

As we stand,

Side by side,

Man by man.

Right or wrong,

True or false,

Our differences,

matter most.

So together we stand,

Hand in hand,

We can stretch our limits,

Like a rubber band.
