Beechworth Bakery Student Fundraiser Event

On Saturday 19th October, Beechworth Bakery is holding an event to celebrate their 40th Birthday. Our 4/5/6 students were asked if they wanted to create a fundraising committee to organise a stall for the day. We have had a great number of students put their hand up to organise the event and their efforts have been tremendous. 

Our committee members have been working on risk assessments, rostering, writing permission slips and invitations, budgeting, negotiating with staff, as well as making the products they are selling. Some have even been purchasing goods, looking at unit prices and logistics on how to get items to school without paying for freight. These students have worked really well together, their organisation skills, commitment and team work have been outstanding.

They have a busy schedule this week completing the final touches for Saturday's stall. 

If your child has volunteered to be on the roster a permission slip has been sent home to you. We have asked that all students attending on the day to be in full school uniform as they will be representing our school. Please note that only students rostered on for the stall with returned permission notes can run the stall on the day. 

The Senior Student Committee would love to see their peers on the day, if you are heading to 40th Birthday of Beechworth Bakery please pop past and say hello! We will be selling playdough and friendship bracelets, we will also have an area for little visitors to do some craft , colouring in and playdough testing!
