We are learning to explore different angles.

VOCABULARY

Arm: The two lines that meet to make an angle.

Vertex: The point where the arms meet.

Right angle: When two straight lines meet each other at 90˚ (perpendicular) at the intersection, they form the right angle. A right angle is represented by the symbol ∟.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Look around your house and find as many right angles as you can.

1)Make a sketch of all the items you find. 

2) Using a different colour mark the right angles.
