Simon Fairall - Head of Junior School
As we reach the end of 2025, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for your support and partnership throughout the year. It has truly been a year of growth and transformation for our Junior School. We’ve celebrated the opening of new learning spaces that provide modern, flexible environments for our students, and we’ve welcomed a record number of new enrolments - an exciting sign of the strength and reputation of our community.
This year has been filled with memorable moments: vibrant assemblies and chapels, engaging classroom learning, and countless opportunities for students to shine in academics, sport, and the arts. Your encouragement and involvement have been central to these successes, and we are deeply grateful.
We are delighted to introduce several new teachers who will join our Junior School team next year:
Helen Salas – Learning Support
Each brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm, and we look forward to the fresh ideas and energy they will contribute to our classrooms and programs.
As we prepare for 2026, we also acknowledge and thank staff members who are finishing their time at Trinity:
Mollie Cleary – Learning Support
Their commitment and care have made a lasting impact on our students, and we wish them every success in the future.
A very special tribute goes to Liz Lowe, who is retiring after 15 years of dedicated service, primarily teaching music to our youngest learners in Kindergarten to Year 2. Liz has nurtured a love of music in countless students, and her legacy will continue to echo through the joyful sounds of our school community.
We are proud to announce the student leaders who will guide our Junior School in 2026:

These students will lead their respective portfolios with enthusiasm and integrity, continuing to strengthen our culture of leadership and service.
In addition, we will announce our 2026 House Captains and Chapel Leaders at one of the first assemblies in Term 1. We look forward to celebrating these appointments with our community early in the new year.
Bookings open Term 1, 2026
We are excited to announce we are partnering with Boas Language Academy to offer free English classes for Junior School students for whom English is their second language. Parents and carers will be welcome to join with their children in these friendly and informal sessions after school. Through these classes, we hope to help build families’ confidence in speaking, reading and writing, and to support communication with the College.
Bookings will open in Term 1 2026. Further information, including class times and registration details, will be shared early next year. We look forward to welcoming families to this wonderful opportunity to learn, connect and grow together.
We are excited to introduce a new co-curricular opportunity for Junior School students in 2026 - Tennis Coaching Sessions with Tennis 11, led by Brock Dixon.
Spots will be limited, so early registration is encouraged
All arrangements and bookings can be made through Tennis 11 via the link below:

Please review the updated Uniform Guidelines for next year to ensure students are ready for a great start. These are also available on our website.
A key focus for 2026 is ensuring students wear the correct school shoes every day. Proper footwear is essential for safety, comfort, and maintaining the high standards of our school uniform. Thank you for supporting us in this expectation.

We remind all families to revisit the Student and Parent Code of Conduct HERE.
Together, we can continue to foster a culture of respect, responsibility, and excellence in every aspect of school life.
As we close this chapter, thank you personally for working alongside our Junior School team and me to ensure that every student feels supported, safe, and enjoys being at school. Your partnership makes all the difference, and together we create an environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We wish you and your family a joyful Christmas and a restful holiday season. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026 for another exciting year of learning and growth.
The Year 6 End of Year Dinner was a beautiful evening of celebration and reflection. Families, staff, and students gathered to share memories, achievements, and hopes for the future. It was a fitting farewell to our graduating class as they prepare to transition to Senior School.

On Friday, our Junior School students from Kindergarten to Year 5 lined the pathway to the Senior School as our Year 6 students made their way through, marking this special transition into Senior School.
There were plenty of smiles, enthusiastic high-fives from our Kinders, and proud families watching on. Best of luck for next year - we can’t wait to welcome you back as Year 7 students!
