Swimming Carnival 2026 Recap

Our Swimming Carnival on Wednesday was a wonderful day filled with excitement, house spirit and fun. Despite the very hot weather, students participated with great enthusiasm and encouragement for one another. It was fantastic to see so many students getting involved, whether competing in events or cheering from the sidelines.

Congratulations to all our swimmers for their efforts and sportsmanship and thank you to our staff and parent helpers who made the day such a success.

Parents Prayer Group

All parents are warmly invited to join our Parents Prayer Group.

Last year, this was a very encouraging time as we gathered together to pray for our children, families, and the school community. Whether you’ve joined us before or this would be your first time, everyone is welcome. There’s no pressure, just a simple and supportive space to spend time together in prayer.

Thanks so much,

Josh and Mel

Parents Prayer Group dates for Term 1

  • 20 February
  • 27 March

Bus List

Please note that for the remainder of Term 1, there are NO spaces left on any buses. There will be more places for Term 2.

Homework

A reminder for families regarding homework as homework begins for Term 1 and will be taken home each week:

  • All children will be given homework and encouraged to complete it.
  • No child will get a consequence for not completing it.

Whilst homework does help to consolidate learning and we do encourage it, if completing homework becomes a significant source of stress or conflict, we respect your decision to step back from it. I understand that families have differing perspectives on homework. We do encourage students to develop good habits and responsibility, but we also recognise that family wellbeing is important and many families are doing co-curriculars, having family time and value other things at home.

Sports Uniform Reminder

Please note that as of Week 2 our updated sport days are:

  • Tuesday: 3-6 Sport
  • Wednesday: K-2 Sport (no change)

Thank you for ensuring students are in their sports uniform on these days.

Musical

A reminder that musical rehearsals are occurring on Monday afternoons. Please see the previous schedule to see if your child is required on a particular day.

We are in need of extra-large cardboard boxes for our upcoming school musical.

If you have any very large boxes at home, particularly from recently purchased appliances (such as fridges, washing machines and dryers) we would greatly appreciate them. We are also collecting newspapers for prop construction.

Donations can be dropped off at the Library.

Thank you for supporting our musical!

Netball Opportunity
