There will be a two week transition to full winter uniforms when we return to school after our Easter holidays. This means children are allowed to wear either their summer or sports uniforms. They must be in full winter uniform from the 4th May. Students are still required to wear sports uniforms on M/W/F and formal uniforms on T/T. Uniform orders may be placed in Compass on your parent app's during the holidays, and the first day for collection will be Friday the 24th April.
Any volunteers that we have in our school, whether they are parents, grandparents or friends of our families who do any type of volunteering for St Joseph's School are required to attend a short volunteer induction. This ranges from our canteen volunteers to any volunteers who help cook a BBQ or time sports races at any of our sporting events.
This induction meeting covers mandatory modules such as evacuation and lockdown procedures, child protection and general protocols for volunteering in our school.
We will have two sessions on the 7th May, to be held in the school hall (entry via Douglas St car park). These will start at either 2.30pm or 5.00pm, and will not go any longer than 30 minutes. (Note we previously advsertised the second session as 5.30pm but this is now 5pm to fit in with another meeting Mrs Yates has that day).
If you have attended an induction in previous years, it is requested that you attend this to refresh your understanding of our safety requirements. There is no need to RSVP, please just turn up.
Did you know that you can now enrol your child through our new online enrolment system for 2027, 2028 and 2029. Pop onto our website and select the Enroldrop down box for the link.
Book club pamplets were sent home this week. Please place your orders on the Loop App by Monday the 11th May. Note that our school does not take cash orders. https://mybookclubs.scholastic.com.au/Parent/Login.aspx
