YEAR 10

 Planning Your Journey

Mrs Libby Schuring

Head of Year 10 lschuring@cns.catholic.edu.au

YEAR 10 KEY INFORMATION: WEEK 5

SET Plan Interviews

  • We want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all students and families who have successfully booked and completed their SET interviews. The next step is now ready for you: please print off your SET plan selections and return them with signatures to your PG mentors as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's educational journey.

Careers Expo

  • In week 6, the Year 10 cohort will be attending the BLA Careers Exp. The expo brings together a vast range of education and career providers to inspire our students. The exhibitors consist of a large cross-section of vocation providers, apprenticeship and traineeship providers, strong industry representation and tertiary/university institutions. This is a great opportunity for our students to further their knowledge about potential careers and further education pathways. All students are required to attend - please keep an eye on your emails for the parent slip.

Reminder - Grooming Standards Reminder

  • As senior school students, our Year 10 cohort plays an important role in modelling the college's uniform and grooming expectations. We ask for your support in ensuring students meet these standards:
    • Young men: Must be clean-shaven with neat, tidy haircuts.
    • Young women: Must wear appropriate jewellery only, and hair below shoulder length must be tied up.
  • Thank you for your continued support in maintaining our college's professional appearance standards.
