Growing Together
Head of Year 9 smcqueen1@cns.catholic.edu.au
I would like to begin by congratulating our Year 9 cohort for the exemplary way they have upheld our uniform expectations so far this term. Their pride in presentation reflects a broader commitment to both their learning and the school community, setting a strong example for our junior students to follow. Well done!
Subject selection for Year 10, 2026, will begin next week. Students will be presented with information that will outline how to log in and select subjects using the online software on Tuesday, 12 August. A copy of the information will then be emailed to students and parents for reference.
The subject selection software will be opened at 6:30 pm on Thursday, 14 August and will shut at 5:00 pm on Friday, 22 August.

We are also looking forward to celebrating St Mary’s Day next week — a highlight on our College calendar. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to relax, enjoy time with friends, and participate in the festivities. I’m especially excited to see Year 9 students showcasing their talents at the concert. It's always a proud moment to witness the joy and spirit of our community in action.
We look forward to celebrating St Mary's Day, one of the best days of the year, next Wednesday! A reminder that all students are required to wear their House Uniform for the day. You’ll find the full timetable for the day below:
