YEAR 8
Building Strong Connections
Head of Year 8
Next week, as part of the SEL lessons, Year 8 students will take part in a follow-up session to support their Year 9 (2026) subject selections. After the initial information session with Mrs Ross, this next step will guide students through logging into the subject selection portal and navigating the system.
Following this session, parents and carers will receive an email summary outlining the process and key information. As places in elective subjects will be allocated on a ‘first in, best-dressed’ basis, we encourage families to discuss preferences ahead of time and be ready to log in once the portal is live.
The subject selection software will be open from 6:30 pm on Thursday, 14 August, to 5:00 pm on Friday, 22 August.
