School Council

September has (almost) arrived in the blink of an eye! Time really does fly when you’re having fun!
Exciting Playground Upgrades
As parents, we know how important play is for our kids. It helps them grow, stay active, and build friendships. That’s why it’s so exciting to see the new playground upgrades for our Year Three/Four and Five/Six students coming to life this term!
The new playground designs are currently in the works, and we’re looking forward to creating spaces that inspire imagination, encourage active play, and support social connection. These new areas will be designed with our students' growth and wellbeing in mind, offering opportunities for challenge, creativity, and collaboration. Watch this space, we’re excited to share more as the vision comes to life!
Have Your Say – Parent / Carer / Guardian Survey
Our voices matter!
Right now, families are invited to take part in the annual Parent, Caregiver, Guardian Opinion Survey run by the Department of Education. It’s a great opportunity to share how we feel about things like school culture, student wellbeing, and engagement.
The survey takes about 20 minutes, works on any device, and is available in English and 10 other languages including Arabic, Greek, Chinese, Hindi, and more.
It’s open until Friday 19th September, and if you need support just reach out to your child’s teacher or contact the school office, they’re happy to support you.
Book Week 2025 – What a Celebration!
Book Week was a huge hit this year! The theme, 'Book an Adventure' truly came to life as students across the school immersed themselves in the magic of stories and imagination. A big thank you to all the families who helped bring the fun to life. Whether it was organising costumes, or simply encouraging a love of reading at home, we couldn’t have done it without you.
VIP Morning – Friday 5th September
We’re looking forward to celebrating the amazing people in our children’s lives at our upcoming VIP Morning on Friday 5th September, from 8:55am to 9:35am.
Whether it's dads, grandads, carers, or your special person - you are welcome! Join us in the classroom for a lovely morning with your child. It’s a small way to say thank you for the big role you play.
Next School Council Meeting – Monday 15th September
Our next School Council Meeting will be held on Monday 15th September.
A huge thank you to our Council members, your time, ideas, and dedication make such a positive impact on our school.
