School Captains' Report

Wominjeka everyone, and welcome to our third newsletter for Term Three. We hope everyone had a great two weeks at school. Here are a few highlights from the past two weeks:

Firstly, we had the District Athletics team compete against other schools last Wednesday. It was amazing to see everyone cheering on their peers and their energy throughout the whole day. Well done to all of those competitors who made it to the next level. Good luck, we’re all rooting for you!

Recently our school basketball team has competed in their Senior Hoop Time competition against other schools. Both the girls and boys teams did amazing! The boys made it to the grand final against Greenvale and lost by four points, good job to everyone who competed! Meanwhile the girls made it to the grand final and won! Now they are through to Divisionals, good luck! We would also like to say a huge thank you to our coaches, Mr D’Souza and Mrs Thomas for coaching and supporting us on. 

Another sports update is that the Year Fives have completed their Intensive Swimming Program over the past two weeks. We’re sure they all had an amazing time!

Book Week was a blast! It was amazing to see everyone in their wonderful costumes and we’re sure that everyone had a wonderful day. Thanks to all the parents and staff who have contributed on that day. 

We hope everyone has an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to see you all on Monday.
