We respectfully ask our parent community to please take care to obey road safety rules when dropping off and picking up your children from school. This includes only parking where it is legally safe to do so, not pulling out in front of other cars, and keeping the roads - particularly Threadbow Cres and Whites Lane free flowing so that all cars can travel safely. The safety of our students is our highest priority and we ask that you take care on the roads.
We are super excited to host our third Mini Fete! This is one of our fun-filled days on the calendar. The Year 5 and 6 students have created mini market stalls, with games or food treats. They have been busily preparing their business plans, sorting out their stalls and preparing their advertising and are ready to host the day.
All students across the school will be joining in to have a fun-filled session of buying goodies, playing games and just enjoying the happy, fun vibe of our Mini Fete day.
This activity is not open to the public or parents but is for our students at WHPS. For many of our younger students our Mini Fete provides an opportunity for them to buy products and play games of their choosing- promoting independence.
Please click on the link to our advertising slideshow.
How to Purchase Tickets
Cash cannot be used on the day. All students will need to pre-purchase tickets prior to the fete ($1.00 = 1 ticket).
The final day to purchase tickets is on Friday, 5th September.
Please place the exact cash in a sealed envelope, and on the front of the envelope write:

Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.
Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.
The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 18 August to Friday 19 September 2025. All families are invited to participate in the survey.
The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.
The online survey will be available in English and 10 other languages including Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Resources are also available in additional languages to assist parents / caregivers / guardians who speak a language other than English at home.
