Our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support Focus for Weeks 4, 5 & 6
Term 3 Week 4, 5 & 6 – SWPBS Focus: I Use Respectful Language
For the above weeks our SWPBS focus is on using respectful language in all settings. At Seymour College we continue to encourage students to uphold our College values of Respect, Inspire, and Excel.
Our Special Education students consistently model these values by engaging positively with peers and staff, using respectful and inclusive language, and contributing to a safe and supportive school environment. Their actions demonstrate the power of kindness and consideration in building strong relationships across our school community.
Well done to all students for continuing to lead by example!
Respect – Saying “Thank-you” when given an item.
Respect – Using my manners
Respect – Being respectful with new staff
Respect – Treating and talking to others nicely
Inspire – Giving her best efforts in all areas of learning.
Inspiring – Displaying joy in her learning.
Green Room Report
Green Room students have had a wonderful start to the term, engaging in a variety of learning experiences. In literacy, they have been exploring the letters of the alphabet through creative craft activities that strengthen fine motor skills and support letter recognition. In numeracy, students have been practicing addition and subtraction with 1–2-digit numbers while also building confidence with number facts to 10. They have also been developing their play and social skills by practicing sharing, taking turns, and interacting positively with their peers. It has been fantastic to see their enthusiasm and growing independence across all areas of learning.
