Tournament of the Minds Tour of the Multi-Purpose Stadium

This afternoon I had the pleasure of accompanying one of our Primary Tournament of the Minds groups on a tour of the Multi-Purpose Stadium.  These students are currently preparing for their competition in Wagga Wagga at the end of the month, where they are presenting a concept of a new recreational facility that caters for the diverse needs of the community.  The opportunity to see our very own facility being constructed is perfect timing.  The students were excited to see inside the stadium and the dance studios, and had the pleasure of meeting the architect, project manager and site manager.  They had some great questions and were in awe at the size of the facility.  No doubt they will be telling their parents all about it tonight.

The construction of the Multi-Purpose Stadium is progressing well, with windows and internal roof cladding being installed in the next two weeks.

Art Exhibition and Art Auction

Thank you to all who supported the Primary Art Exhibition and the Online Art Auction. I am sure all who attended and viewed the art on display would agree that we have very talented budding artists.  A special thank you to our specialist art teacher, Mrs Cindy-Lee Pedrana for leading these initiatives.  The 16 pieces of art sold for a combined total of $5,241.17, and the art auction has been a very successful fundraiser for our Multi-Purpose Stadium. Thank you very much to all the winning bidders for your generous support.

Fathers Day Raffle

Thank you to all who have already purchased tickets for our Father's Day Raffle.  With 11 fantastic prizes that have a combined value of over $2,050 there will be some very happy winners. The raffle will be drawn on Friday 5 September – you can purchase your tickets here.  Thank you to our very generous sponsors who have donated the prizes in support of our Multi-Purpose Stadium project.
