SEPTMEBER VACATION CARE

We are excited for the upcoming September school holidays!

Our team has been hard at work planning a fun and interactive two weeks for the kids.

The theme for September is Heroes vs Villains

We have some exciting incursions booked, along with a fun day out to the Enchanted Maze at Arthurs Seat.

  • Booking forms will be sent out to all parents on Monday, 18th August.
  • Bookings for permanent families open on Monday, 25th August.
  • Bookings for community families open on Monday, 1st September.

Bookings will close on Wednesday, 17th September. Any bookings after this date will only be accepted if spaces are available.

We will be located in the GYM for these school holidays.

NEW POLICIES

We are currently reviewing a new policy titled "Safe Use of Digital Technologies and Online Environments." This policy is aligned with current developments and best practices within the childcare sector, ensuring we continue to provide a safe, supportive, and responsible digital environment for all children and staff.

The School Council will review the proposed policy at its next meeting. Pending approval, the policy will come into effect from September 1st.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and care, particularly in our use of digital tools and online resources.

We currently have four medical-related policies under review: the Medical Conditions Policy, the Epilepsy Management Policy, the Asthma Management Policy, and the Anaphylaxis Management Policy. Due to the number of policies that need reviewing, we have divided them into categories and are starting with the medical ones. We welcome any feedback or suggestions on these policies.

OSHC SUB COMMITTEE

We would like to warmly invite you to join our OSHC Sub-Committee. Our sub-committee meets monthly, just before each School Council meeting, and it’s a fantastic opportunity for families to provide feedback and actively contribute to the management and future development of the OSHC program.

The meetings are informal, with no titles or prior experience necessary, and provide a great chance to learn more about how the program runs and how you can help shape its direction. We typically meet on a Monday night at 6:20pm, and meetings usually run for around 40 minutes to an hour. Each month we review the Coordinator’s Report and discuss any policies currently under review.

If you're interested in joining us or would simply like to find out more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’d love to have more parent voices involved and truly value your input.
