House Athletics Carnival – Year 3–6

Congratulations to all our Year 3–6 students who participated in the House Athletics Carnival this week! We were fortunate to enjoy beautiful weather, and it was wonderful to see students giving their best and having fun across a wide range of athletics events.

A big thank you to Ms Purcell and Mrs Drury for their outstanding organisation and for running such a smooth and successful day. The event was extremely well coordinated and gave every student the opportunity to participate in athletics events.

We’d also like to thank all the staff who supported the event and the parents who generously volunteered their time. Your involvement helped make the day such a success!

Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Educators’ Day

On Wednesday, we celebrated Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Educators’ Day, honoring the dedication and creativity of our OSHC educators and program leaders. Their care enriches not only the OSHC program but the entire WHPS community. Thanks to their passion and skill, our students enjoy a fun, nurturing environment with exciting activities every day. We’re grateful for our amazing OSHC team!

Building Numeracy Skills at Home

The Victorian Department of Education offers useful resources to help parents support their children’s learning in Mathematics. By incorporating simple numeracy activities into everyday life, parents can reinforce the skills their children are developing at school. Whether it’s cooking, shopping, or playing games, there are plenty of fun and practical ways to boost your child’s confidence and understanding of numbers.
