The Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book Week, this year, is being celebrated from Saturday 16ᵗʰ August to Saturday 23ʳᵈ August. The theme for Book Week this year is: Book an Adventure!

This year is also a milestone year for the Children’s Book Council as it celebrates 80 years of Children’s Book Week!  The CBCA has been dedicated to inspiring young people to take the opportunity to read and enjoy the journey through the countless worlds that books offer.

To celebrate Book week, there will be a special display of books in the Resource Centre reflecting the CBCA Book Week theme: Book an Adventure. Books on display will include books from both areas of fiction and non-fiction, comprising graphic novels, manga, verse novels, biographies, poetry, countries, science and history. The display will run over two weeks to provide the opportunity for all members of the College community to visit the display and borrow from the many books available.
