Market Day Stall
On Monday, July 28, Year 9 Commerce students held a ‘Market Day’ to develop their understanding of how small businesses operate. As part of the project, students created business ideas, marketed their products, and managed the purchase and sale of stock — all with the aim of making a profit.
A wide variety of items were available at recess, including Milo, sweet treats, hot chips, and soft drinks. Among the most popular stalls were Cupcakes Craze, Quik Bites, and Hot Chippies.
Students were also taxed on their profits, raising $92, which will go towards purchasing supplies for Ronald McDonald House to be donated later this term.
The class would like to thank everyone who supported their business ventures, and a special thank you to Ms Adams for co-ordinating the event.
