Celebrating 60 Years of Killara Church this Sunday at 10.15 am

This Sunday don't forget to come to the 10.15 am Mass at the Killara Church which is at 76A Fiddens Wharf Rd, Lindfield . Our Broken Bay area Bishop Anthony Randazzo will say a special Mass to celebrate 60 years of the Church being established. Afterwards there will be a fair in the grounds for the children to enjoy!  Our Parish really does go overboard to engage families and thank you to Olwyn Connolly who has been doing so much to organise all of the post Mass activities. Let's be part of the celebration!

Advent starts on the First Sunday in December. Why not watch this 2 minute clip to find out what it is all about!  https://advent.bustedhalo.com/

The custom of hanging a wreath on your door before Christmas actually comes from the Advent wreath. What Is the Advent Wreath?

The Advent wreath is a circular garland of evergreen branches representing eternity. On that wreath, four or five candles are arranged. Each candle represents an aspect of the spiritual preparation for the coming of Jesus at Christmas. During the season of Advent, one candle on the wreath is lit each Sunday at Mass. If your family would like to repeat the tradition at home as a way of deepening preparations for Christmas please email me and I can send home an advent placemat with candles and prayers for you. I will need to know by next Tuesday if you would like this!!

One of our learning support officers, Kate Falzon has developed a beautiful website for children and families to learn more about the Catholic faith so if you have any questions about our traditions why not take a look? Thank you, Kate! https://www.cclittlesaints.com ❤️
