Sport Achievements

YEAR 6 COMMUNITY SPORTS PROGRAM

Last week our Year 6 students participated in their community sports program. The program gives the students an opportunity to try some different sports in their own unique environment, as opposed to modified versions that we can only do at school.

The sports included:

Golf - Skye Golf Club

Tennis - Centenary Park Tennis Club

Karate- Kenshin Karate

Roller skating - Sk8House

InSportz - Frankston Indoor Sports Centre

SUMMER INTERSCHOOL SPORT – TERM 4 2023

Congratulations to the following teams who progressed through to the next round of School Sport Victoria’s competition earlier this term after becoming district champs back in Term 1.

Boys Cricket Team – Defeated St. Joachims Catholic School to become Division champions at Mt. Eliza. Progressed through to Regional finals where they finished 3rd in their pool. Losses to St. Louis and Berwick PS were followed by a great win over Koo Wee Rup PS

Girls Basketball Team – Finished runners up at Division level after a nailbiter against St.Johns Catholic School. Two free throws at the end of the game decided a thriller between the two schools, with Woodlands going down by one point.
