The lost property cupboard is overflowing... again!

To try to deal with the never ending stream of lost property being stored in a limited space, a small group of helpers have started a system to manage lost property.

Each unnamed item that arrives, whether it is school uniform or not,  is dated and kept for two weeks. Each week the cupboard is checked, and all items that are two weeks or older are distributed in the following way:

• Unnamed school uniform items are washed and donated to the second hand uniform shop.
• Unnamed non-school items are washed and donated to charity.
• All named items are returned to classrooms.

There are also unnamed drink bottles and lunch boxes in lost property, along with the odd bike helmet and pair of socks. These will also be donated to charity after two weeks.

If your child is missing items, please check lost property – we just may have your valuable belongings.
