Change of Season

Dear Families, 

We have approached hay fever season, Many children present with 

• Itchy eyes
• Sneezing
• Watery eyes
• Coughing
• Runny nose

This is all very common with all the pollen in the air. 

We advise if your child has hay fever or presents with hay fever symptoms to give your child an antihistamine before attending to school to make them as comfortable at school as possible. 

 If your child is unwell and has flu like symptoms please keep them home so that we do not put other students and staff who are immune compromised at risk. Our exclusion period for common illnesses are:

Vomiting - 48 hours from the last vomit

Diarrhea - 48 hours from the last loose stool 

Influenza influenza like illnesses – Exclude until well

Fever – Exclude till no Fever.

Please return any uniforms that have been supplied to you from First Aid

URGENT REQUEST

Could the families that have not yet returned their Asthma, Anaphylaxis, Allergy or any other plans please return them now. Your child's health is our priority and in case of an emergency we need your plan here at the school.
