From the

Acting Assistant Principal

Greetings everyone,

After spending 15 years in another school setting it has been both a privilege and a pleasure to have been given the opportunity to have a new experience. I cannot believe how quickly the 12 weeks has gone!

A huge thanks to Ms Babich for trusting my ability to fit in at Rowville Primary School and to do the work that was required. Thank you to all the staff for your support and willingness to welcome me for this term – it has made coming out of retirement very worthwhile.

I have really enjoyed my class visits each day and will find Wednesday’s final visits a tad sad. The students have been a joy to meet and I have appreciated the positive interactions from the parents that I have met in this short time.

A highlight last Friday was the final assembly when the ‘quartet’ sang ‘So Long Farewell’ to Mr Birnie. What an outstanding performance from these four talented students – I am so glad I was at that assembly!

Have a safe and happy Christmas.

Thanks and So Long Farewell.
