Meet Mrs Bell

Bonjour CJC Community,
My name is Ashleigh Bell, and I am an Assistant Principal at Cranbourne South Primary School. As part of the Unlocking Potential Principal (Preparation) Program, I have the privilege of undertaking a principal internship at your wonderful school over the next four to six weeks. Throughout my career, I have worked in a range of different leadership roles across several Victorian schools - both large and small, and across both primary and secondary settings as an Assistant Principal. I am really looking forward to learning about your unique school community, gaining a deeper understanding of your context, and hopefully contributing in a meaningful way during my time here.
A little about me personally: I’m a mum of three girls, with my eldest in Year 12 and my youngest in Prep this year – it is a busy time in our house! Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and daughters on our family farm in Gippsland or out on the water with my surfboard - my favourite place to be!
I ironically also speak a little French, having studied it back in secondary school, so I’m looking forward to dusting off those skills while I’m here – I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch organised at CJC while being taught French by some of your wonderful Enrichment students, who certainly put me through my paces!
Please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself and say hello if you see me around the school grounds or at the school gate during drop-off and pick-up times. I look forward to meeting members of the CJC community and getting to know you over the coming weeks.
Merci beaucoup !
Ashleigh
