Dear Families,
Thank you for a wonderful term.
Your children have been amazing—demonstrating commitment to their learning, showing resilience during challenges, and taking genuine pride in their school. The feedback we consistently receive from visitors, and at events outside of school, is nothing short of exemplary. Comments often highlight our students’ outstanding manners, respectful behaviour, neat presentation, and their calm, positive presence. I couldn't be prouder!
A big shout-out to our dedicated staff, who once again have gone above and beyond to provide rich learning experiences and opportunities for our students. Their support of both our students and school leadership is deeply appreciated—they are truly an exceptional team.
Wishing you and your loved ones a safe, restful, and happy holiday/break in routine.
2:30PM FINISHFRIDAY.
We look forward to seeing everyone back in Term 4 for our COLOUR RUN!
Deputy Principal Announcement
We recently held interviews for the role of Deputy Principal: School Improvement at St Therese's, commencing in 2026. We were fortunate to attract a strong field of candidates.
I am pleased to announce that the successful candidate is Brent Anstee. Brent is currently serving as Deputy Principal at St Mary’s, Echuca. He holds a Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership and has actively participated in a number of leadership initiatives, including the NESLI Leadership Colloquium and the Catholic Diocese Leadership Program (CDLP).
Please join me in warmly welcoming Brent to our school community. We look forward to the experience, insight, and leadership he will bring to St Therese’s.

Professional Growth
The campaign for upgraded safety measures on Lowndes Street continues. We met with the staff from the City of Greater Bendigo on Friday to again express our concern for our students' safety. If you have a moment, please write to the Council or our State Member to share your concerns and call for action. It is so important that they hear from you! We will continue to work with CESL on our next steps.

Please note the schoolyard is unsupervised before 8:30 am. There are still many, many children on the grounds prior to this time.
For the safety of your children, I am asking that they are not dropped off at school before 8:30 am.
