 🌿Peaceful Kids Intervention🌿

We are excited to announce and launch our evidence based Tier 2 wellbeing small group intervention – Peaceful Kids! 💚

Peaceful Kids empowers students with mindfulness, resilience strategies, and emotional regulation skills to support their wellbeing journey. This program provides a safe and supportive space where students can learn, share, and grow together.

Just like other intervention programs currently running in Literacy and Maths, Peaceful Kids will be a targeted program for selected students who may be showing signs of anxiety at school and identified through our wellbeing data as needing a little extra support.

Parents will be contacted for permission before their child participates.

As wellbeing leader and trained Peaceful Kids facilitator, I'll be running the program sessions. Rosario will be running some additionally Anxiety based sessions as our school counsellor, however this will be a separate program

Each group will run for one hour per week across a term. We are beginning with four small groups of 5–6 students in our senior school (Grade 4-6) this term, with plans to expand the program further next year into the junior school. 🌱

At our school, we believe in nurturing not just academic success, but also the social and emotional wellbeing of every child. Starting Peaceful Kids is another way we’re investing in our wellbeing space by targeted intervention to compliment our whole school wellbeing weekly learning. 💫

KIDS HelpLine Webinars
