Last term, the Victorian Catholic education community gathered in Melbourne to celebrate the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students graduating from Year 12 in 2025.
We are proud to congratulate Charlie Kuhn and Curtly McDonald, who represented St Brigid’s College at the graduation dinner. This milestone and evening reflected the heart of Catholic education: walking alongside families and nurturing every student to grow in knowledge, confidence and faith.
We remind families of our partnership with SchoolTV, a leading online mental health and wellbeing platform designed to proactively support families and students and strengthen parent-school partnerships.
This Special Report, Healthy Study Habits, has tools and resources for families that will help you support your young person as they begin preparing for end of year exams.

Last term, our Year 12 students gathered in The Well and shared breakfast with each other and their teachers. With just a few weeks to go before their final exams, it was a lovely morning to celebrate the final stretch of their secondary school journey!
Last week Year 12 VCE students and Year 11 students completing a Unit 3/4 VCE subject sat practice exams for each of their subjects. With the VCAA exam period starting in two weeks, the practice exams are an important part of the preparation.
We are proud to support every student's chosen pathway and assist those pursuing VCE exams and an ATAR to prepare effectively. This year we have 84% of our Year 12 cohort sitting exams! We also support students who follow an alternate path, such as the Victoria Pathways Certificate, or apprenticeships into employment. We congratulate our students studying Unit 3 and 4 VCE for their dedication and wish them all the best for the coming weeks.
In Term 3, Year 7 PE classes completed a Sport Education in Physical Education Program (SEPEP). SEPEP is a student-centered approach to teaching PE where students take on various roles and responsibilities to plan, organise, and participate in a sports competition.
Year 7s completed the unit playing volleyball and took on roles such as referee, media reporter, scorer, and coach. In the last week of term, the grand final was held and students received awards for fairest referee, most improved, best performance, and best teamwork. Well done to all students for their leadership and positive participation in the program!
Congratulations to Year 10 student, Iris Sudholz , for her success at the recent Ranvet Pony Club National Championships! Iris took out 1st place in the Open Grade 1 eventing class on her horse, River. Eventing comprises three phases - Dressage, Showjumping and Cross Country. Well done!
Earlier this week we welcomed over 130 Grade 5 and 6 students to St Brigid's College for our Experience Day! Students spent the day exploring our new spaces, getting hands on in our specialist facilities, and meeting our wonderful teachers.
We love hosting primary school students and giving them a glimpse into life at our College. For those joining us in 2026 or 2027, we understand that a smooth transition to secondary school begins well before Day 1 of Year 7. Our Experience Day is a key part of that journey, and we hope all students enjoyed their day!
Thank you to the all the staff from participating schools for making the day such a success, especially Miss Ash Grace for all her work behind the scenes and on the day!
