This week, classes completed the remaining assessments to finish off the soccer unit. Throughout the unit, the students have developed fundamental movement skills and specific techniques.
The students were assessed at four stations: dribbling, passing, shooting, and trapping. Their assessment criteria were the same criteria that they have been told to develop throughout the unit, including dribbling with both the inside and the outside of the foot, passing with the inside of the foot, taking a step back before shooting, and trapping the ball with the inside of the foot.
Classes who had already finished their assessment were able to enjoy some exciting activities including dribble knockout (with a basketball), skipping in pairs and groups, juggling a soccer ball with their feet, and revision of levels 1-5 of hitting a ball with a paddlebat.
