Hansen Scholarship Program Online Information Evening

Talented Year 12 students, parents, careers practitioners and other support people are invited to join us for an online information session to learn more about the University's most generous undergraduate scholarship: the Hansen Scholarship.

 

As a Hansen Scholar, you’ll join a program that nurtures potential and provides a place where your ambition can grow, offering you access to a high-quality university education that might otherwise feel out of reach. Valued at up to $108,000, this scholarship offers a fully funded place to call home at Little Hall for three years. Alongside the close-knit residential community, tailored mentoring, extracurricular activities and focused financial support will set you up for success.

 

In this one-hour session, we’ll cover:

  • Eligibility and selection criteria
  • Timelines and the application process
  • Tips and advice on submitting a competitive application
  • Benefits of the program including the fully funded offerings of Little Hall.

You’ll hear from a current Hansen Scholar who will share their experiences about the program and be available to answer your questions. A recording of the session will be made available for registrants who cannot tune in on the night.

UCAT 2025 Important Dates 

UCAT ANZ 2025 registrations are now open. 

Year 12 students considering a career in medicine or dentistry will need to sit a compulsory entry exam known as the UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test) before they can apply for relevant placements in the aforementioned fields of study within most universities in Australia. 

 

UCAT ANZ 2025 Key Dates 

Candidates taking the UCAT ANZ in 2025 for entry to universities in Australia and New Zealand in 2026 should note these key dates. Deadline times are 11.59pm AEST - Australian Eastern Standard Time.

University of Melbourne Scholarships and Prizes 

The University of Melbourne offers more than 1200 scholarships and prizes including bursaries and grants, for current and commencing students. 

 

Narrm Scholarship

  • The Narrm Scholarship Program provides financial, academic and wellbeing support to eligible undergraduate students who apply through our Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS), Access Melbourne. ​

Hansen Scholarship

  • The Hansen Scholarship recognises students from around Australia who have demonstrated resilience to adversity, and a commitment to supporting others.
  • Applications for Year 12 students starting their undergraduate degree in 2026 will close 31 March 2025.
