Harmony Day

Harmony Week
Monday 17 - Sunday 23 March 2025
Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense
of belonging for everyone.
Today students and staff celebrated Harmony Day by dressing in their traditional clothing, wearing orange and participating in activities. Fitzroy P.S is fortunate to have so many different nationalities that make up our amazing school community!
The 1/2D children spoke about harmony and what it means at school.
Emi Rose: 'On peut etre gentille quand on ecoute et partage avec les autres. '
Mahmoud: 'playing is being kind.'
Albe: 'I respect our differences like our culture and our skin'.
Abdullahi: 'we include one another.'
Alex: 'when we are respectful, we show courage'.
Bastien: 'J'aide les autres avec leur français, je suis gentil '
Antoine: 'I show acceptance by only taking as much as I give. '
