Canteen Corner
Come and assist to provide our kids with healthy, nutritious snacks and lunches in our on-site canteen. Our Parent Helpers are critical to the weekly operation of Chatham's Canteen food service. This role will involve food preparation and food service to the children under the guidance and supervision of our lovely Canteen Manager and Food Safety Supervisor, Jo Paterson. You are required to have an up-to-date Working With Children Check for this role. Please provide a copy to the School Office prior to signing up. You can easily apply for your WWCC at: www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au
If you need to amend or cancel your canteen shift within 72 hours of the shift date, please email Jo Paterson, Canteen Manager, to advise so a replacement can be found at: jopatto1@gmail.com
Dear Parents and Carers,
The Canteen operates on Wednesdays and Fridays. In order that this facility and services operates at capacity, the following rules and requirements apply:
Orders must be placed by 9:00am on Tuesday for Wednesday orders, and 9:00am on Thursdays for Friday’s orders. Up until these 9:00am deadlines, orders can be cancelled or changed.
If a student is absent and has placed an order, the School Office must be notified by 9:00am on the day of the order (Wednesday or Friday) on 9830 1933 or at chatham.ps@education.vic.gov.au . In this case the order will be pushed out to the same day a week later. There can be no refunds. No order will be carried over for more than one week.
- If notification of a student absence is not received by 9.00am on the day, the order will be cancelled, and no refund will be provided.
All orders are placed through the QKR app. Please note that a hard copy of the menu will be provided to all students in the coming weeks.
