🏑 Mazenod/CUHC  Junior Have a Go Day – A Huge Success! 🏑

Last weekend we had our annual Mazenod/CUHC Junior Have a Go Day! The day kicked off with a thrilling and entertaining match between Mazenod and the MOB, setting the tone for an action-packed afternoon. Plenty of great hockey, skills on display, and a few laughs along the way!

From there, it was all about skills development, with players of all ages getting involved, learning new techniques, and honing their game. It was fantastic to see juniors (Mazenod and Mercedes players) and the little Minkies alike embracing the opportunity to develop and have fun on the field.

We wrapped up the day with a sausage sizzle, bringing everyone together in true hockey club spirit. A huge thank you to all our volunteers, umpires, and organizers for making it all happen—your efforts keep our club strong!

Here’s to another fantastic season ahead! Go Mazenod/CUHC!

🏑 Match Report: Mazenod vs. MOB 🏑

It was a competitive clash on Sunday afternoon against the Mazenod Old Boys. The MOB dominated large parts of the game, showing their experience and control, though our Mazenod boys managed to break through and get one on the board. A great contest with plenty of intensity!

Player of the Match Awards:

🏅 Liam S (Year 12) – Outstanding effort all over the field, bringing energy and composure when it mattered.

🏅 Tom Baxter (MOB Class of '18) – A strong presence throughout the game, making key plays and leading from the front.

Well played to both teams, and thanks to everyone who came down to support.
