Overdue Accreditation Fees

NESA has commenced a review of all actively accredited teachers in NSW that are yet to pay their 2025 accreditation fees. Please check your etams account to ensure that you have paid your teacher accreditation fee/s.

Teachers will be required to pay all outstanding fees to avoid suspension of their accreditation at the end of Term 1, 11 April 2025.

Teachers whose accreditation is suspended cannot be employed as a teacher in a NSW school or service and will require Principals to act accordingly, which may include unpaid suspension or termination.

ECT Accreditation Workshop

Early Career teachers will be trained in the NESA Accreditation requirements and how to become proficient. This is a legislative requirement of NESA, as well as building the capacity of the teachers and supervisors to use the Australian Professional Standards to improve their teaching practice. New ECTs are encouraged to attend, and other ECTs who need further clarification. ECTs are given the opportunity to map out their accreditation with certain descriptors and evidence. We encourage any new or existing supervisors to attend with their ECTs so they have an understanding of the PT requirements.

Tuesday 6th May - Tamworth HUB

Thursday 8th May - Inverell (Venue TBC)
