Meet the Specialists

Art
I love my job! I get to be creative every day and introduce kids to new ideas, experiences and techniques to create artworks they’re proud of. The only downside is most of my clothes have paint on them.
I’m a mum of two awesome boys and I’m lucky enough to get to bring them to school with me.
I’m energised by good conversations, cake, smiles, satisfying textures, and heavy rain. I’m good at untangling things. I’m not good at waking up.
BAHASA INDONESIA
Hi, I’m Ibu Kas, a mum of three children who are all now taller than me. I love working at BNWP and teaching Indonesian language but I must admit it is not my all time favourite job. That title definitely goes to when I was sailing the seas on a tall ship called the “Golden Hinde” as an Elizabethan privateer and educational tour guide… a long lonnnggg time ago.
PERFORMING ARTS
Hi Everyone! My name is Jenny and I’m the Performing Arts teacher at BNWPS. My background is in Circus, but these days I enjoy more dance practices for wellbeing and perform occasionally at festivals and gigs. My family are from Sri Lanka and England. In my spare time I enjoy being in nature and walking my dog (Shadow).
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Hello Everyone, I am Max, the Physical Education Teacher at BNWPS. I love working at BNWPS especially in my role as a Physical Education Teacher and everything to do with sport! In my spare time, I love travelling around the world, 25 countries and counting…and spending time with my family and friends. If you see me around, don't be afraid to come and say hi!
SCIENCE
Hello!
I’m Ben, the new Science teacher at BNWPS. I’m super excited to be talking about science, gardening, cooking, and construction projects every day! Previously, I have been the garden teacher at Collingwood College, and I love veggie gardens, chooks and bugs! I have also taught in Mexico and Taiwan. At home, when I’m not playing with my bees, my chickens and my kids, I love surfing and hiking!
