Religious Education Update

FRIDAY CLASS MASSES

Please find the timetable for your child’s class Mass. If your child has been given a reading it will be sent home prior to their class mass for them to practice.

CLASS PRAYER 

You are warmly invited to attend the upcoming Class Prayers which will be held in the student classrooms.

CONFIRMATION RETREAT DAY

Last week, the Year 6 students participated in a retreat day to prepare for their upcoming Confirmation. The day was filled with reflection and spiritual growth as they explored the story of Pentecost, participated in Reconciliation and spent time in Adoration. 

Thank you to the Year 6 parents who were able to join in this prayerful experience.

THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

Students in Year 6 celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation yesterday evening. It was a beautiful ceremony that was celebrated by Bishop Richard Umbers. 

Confirmation continues the initiation process, a perfecting and completing of Baptism. The Holy Spirit empowers us to be the best Christians we can be. 

Thank you to all those who helped in the preparation of the students for this special occasion.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Students in Year 3 and higher who have not received their First Holy Communion are welcome to complete this sacrament this year. 

The Holy Family Parish has confirmed the date for Sunday 13th September at 9:30 am.
