Principal's Message

A message from our Principal
Big Freeze at MPPS
Congratulations on a tremendously successful week of action form our student Community Leaders in planning and running our very own Big Freeze event. What a great way to end a very successful term.
A special thanks to the students and staff who supported the students in the project by dressing up and going down the slide into the freezing pool of ice! We look forward to announcing the final total raised to help fight MND.
Science in Term 3!
Amy (our beloved French teacher) will be taking leave next term. We are excited to announce that each we will be running Science as part of our weekly specialist program as a temporary replacement of French. This was very successfully done a few years ago with students loving a specialised science program. We are also excited to eventually get our STEAM (Science and Technology) room back up and running as things settle following our extensive building works. Our French program will recommence in term 4.
Congratulations!
Congratulations to our girls and boys Tommy Lahiff Cup teams who competed over the last 2 weeks with great success. The boys team won the trophy for the second year running which is an amazing accomplishment. Both teams competed with the highest level of sportsmanship and grace.
Our very own Chess team (below) participated in the Mindful Chess Interschool Chess Championships on Wednesday and performed beautifully.
Well done also to the boys from Parkers Black who won their APISC futsal under 9/10 boys grand final last weekend! It’s a great story to persistence after going through the previous season without a win!
Term End
Thanks to everyone for an eventful and rewarding term.
Please stay safe over the break and we look forward to a big term 3.
All the best,
