Welcome to Week 2

 It has been wonderful to see our students return from the holidays refreshed, positive, and ready to learn. Across the school, students have settled quickly back into classroom routines, demonstrating our Leongatha Primary School values and a strong commitment to their learning. We have been incredibly impressed with the way everyone has re-engaged with both their learning and life at LPS.

This Wednesday, we wish our School Spectacular Team all the very best as they represent Leongatha Primary School in some preliminary work involved in this event. School Spectacular brings together talented students from schools across the region to perform in a large-scale showcase of music, dance and the performing arts. It is a fantastic opportunity for our students to develop their confidence, perform alongside their peers, and celebrate the arts. We know they have worked hard in preparation and are sure they will do themselves and our school proud.

On Friday, our Grade 5 students will travel to the Geelong Cats vs Melbourne Demons AFL match. This exciting experience provides more than just a day at the football—it is an important opportunity for students to strengthen friendships, build positive connections across the cohort, and continue developing the teamwork and independence that will support them during their upcoming three-day Melbourne Camp. We hope they have a fantastic day together and create plenty of lasting memories.

We look forward to another great week of learning and celebrating the many opportunities our students enjoy at Leongatha Primary School.
