Foundation Police Visit

A Special Visit from Forest Hill Police!

On Monday 15th June, Foundation students were very excited to welcome Lisa, a police officer from Forest Hill Police Station. Lisa taught us all about the important work police officers do to help keep our community safe.

Students enjoyed learning about the different equipment police officers use, as well as the special vehicles they drive, including police cars and helicopters. We also discovered that police officers have some amazing animal helpers, such as police dogs and police horses.

One of the highlights of the visit was getting the chance to sit inside a real police car! The students were full of curiosity and asked lots of thoughtful questions throughout the session.

Here are some of the students’ comments about the visit:

Luca L- I liked learning about the different equipment.

James- I liked sitting in the police car.

Arwa- I like sitting in the police car and hearing the siren.

Liam J- I loved it! It was so much fun!

Atharv- I liked looking at the police car.
