Halfway through Foundation

Halfway through Foundation... and What a Journey It Has Been!

All of our Foundation students in FR, FS and FK have officially reached the halfway mark of their very first year of school—and what an incredible journey it has been so far!

It feels like only yesterday there were backpacks bigger than the students carrying them. Fast forward two terms, and our newest learners have settled beautifully into school life, mastered the routines, built wonderful friendships and become confident members of the BEPS community.

Beyond the classroom, our Foundation students have embraced everything our school has to offer. The Recess and Lunch Library sessions have become a favourite break time destination for reading and drawing, our Waste Warriors have been helping to keep our school looking fantastic, and sticker collections have reached serious levels! They continue to impress us with their attentive behaviour at assemblies, have become the best of friends with our school chickens, and have loved participating in the Soccer Academy and Fizz Kids.

There is so much to celebrate—not just as readers, writers and mathematicians, but as kind, resilient and enthusiastic learners. They've tackled every challenge with curiosity and a willingness to give everything a go.
