Visual Arts

Semester 1- Expert Art- Year 2 and 3 Selected Students
Overview:
The intention of Expert Art was for students to have the opportunity to challenge themselves to develop skills beyond drawing and painting. Term 1 and 2 focussed on hand sewing, which saw students develop stronger hand eye coordination, critical and creative thinking skills and fundamental hand sewing skills. Through this experience, students gained another avenue of creative expression as well as a life skill. It has been a pleasure to witness the skill and knowledge development of all participating students. I have no doubt that the students will continue to nurture their artistic skills in the years to come.
