Mathletics

Mathletics is Adding Up to Success!
Our students have been busy flexing their maths muscles on Mathletics this semester, and the results are certainly adding up!
Across the school, students completed thousands of activities, with an incredible 84% of them achieving scores of 85% or higher. Even more exciting is that students didn't just complete the work—they improved. Many revisited activities, learnt from their mistakes and boosted their scores, showing that practice really does make progress.
Across the whole school, some of the biggest improvements were seen in topics like fractions, decimals, measurement and number skills. These concepts can be challenging, but our students have shown fantastic resilience and determination to master them. (Who knew decimals could become everyone's new best friend?)
A huge thank you also goes to our families. Whether you've been cheering from the sidelines, helping remember passwords, or listening to your child proudly announce they've earned another certificate, your encouragement makes a real difference.
Keep an eye out for those certificates! They will be celebrated in classrooms and in future Buzz Newsletters. Here's to continuing to build confidence, celebrate effort and prove that every little bit of practice really does count... even if it occasionally means hearing, "Just one more Mathletics activity!" before bedtime.
