BEPS Alumni

At Burwood East Primary School we have a very strong school community spirit. This community spirit includes both past and present students.
The Burwood East Primary School Alumni initiative is a great way for our school community to celebrate these connections. The Alumni will serve as a bridge between the past and present, fostering lifelong connections and a sense of belonging among our former students.
Past students are encouraged to share their journey since graduating with the school community, and this sharing has a powerful impact on the creation of a positive cycle of success, support, and inspiration for future generations. It's a testament to the enduring value of education and the lifelong relationships forged during the student years.
We will be organising opportunities for the student Alumni to share their experiences and achievements with the current student cohort.
We recently caught up with Anshu and Edwin from a past Year 6 Graduation Class:
What are you doing at the moment?
Anshu- "I'm in Year 7."
Edwin- "I am in Year 7 at secondary school."
What is your best memory of your time at BEPS?
Anshu- "My best memory would be all of the engaging camps and productions at BEPS."
Edwin- "Probably the time we had camp."
What are your future goals?
Anshu- "My future goal would be probably to study more and balance playing. Spend some times learning new things."
Edwin- "My future goal is to be in the interschool sport table tennis team next year since I am only a substitute in the team."
What is the biggest change you have noticed on your return visit?
Anshu- "The classrooms have changed alot from previous visit in the new building. However, the younger gradesa are in the new building."
Edwin- "Probably the teachers and how many staff have left during my time out of BEPS."
